What have we been up to? BMA had a fantastic
Semester 1 for 2009. We worked hard to complete our English and Maths
QCATs. As well as learning about Moon phases, shadows, ANZAC day and it's
impact on Australia's identity. We have done a lot fitness and sport activities too,
and loved every bit of it.
This term we will be investigating the Water Cycle, and
participating in SEQ Water's "Up a Dry Gully" Project. In this we have to
design and create a model to solve a water issue for a fictional town.
Later in the term we will investigate Earthquakes and
create our own Seismologist report. |

Father's Day RAFFLE
BMA, BWE and BCA are collecting items for
the Father's Day Raffle. This is one of our Project Compassion's for the
year. We are raising funds for Monty's Foundation. This is a
non-profit charitable organisation that aims to provide flexible support to
families with a child/children suffering life threatening illnesses or
disabilities.
Let's
really get behind this organisation and the work they do, and hope that none of
us ever have to access their services. |
