We believe that ABL is the coolest class to be in and we love to learn and solve problems by playing games and ‘doing’, and that means making things!

There are 25 students in ABL! – Oh! Are you wondering why we are called ABL? The ‘A’ means we are in the early years of schooling and the ‘BL’ are the first two letters of our teacher’s name Mrs Blackmore.

This year apart from heaps of reading, writing and maths, we have been discovering facts about Australia – in particular we are learning what it means to be an Australian. We have three computers in our room and we all work on the computers every day!

Thanks for logging on and meeting us. Have a look at some our artwork and experiments– we really are very busy with lots to make and do so we better get back to work! Bye!

Book week dress ups - Mrs Blackmore as Bumble the Bee and Miss Brock as the Nutty Professor                       Clay masks

Growing soda crystals – we made a super saturated solution to see if crystals would grow on the hanging paperclip They did!

Decorated timber peg dolls!
